Everytable Partners with Compton Unified: Fresh Scratch-Cooked Meals for 31 Schools
Compton Unified School District is bringing scratch-cooked, USDA-compliant meals to 31 schools through a new partnership with Everytable. The program aims to provide healthy, affordable lunches for students while supplementing the district’s existing nutrition program for students and staff. The district-wide rollout officially began with the 2025–26 school year, following a summer of taste tests and student feedback sessions.

Utility Users Tax (UUT) Exemption – City of Compton
The City of Compton imposes a 10% Utility Users Tax on water service charges. Exemptions include non-“persons,” government agencies, federal credit unions, certain insurers, and low-income seniors (62+) or disabled residents. To apply—no mail/email/fax—visit the Treasurer’s Office with your recent utility bills, proof of income, and photo ID. No refunds without a filed exemption form. Contact the City Controller for details.
