Community Legal Aid SoCal (CLA SoCal) is offering Domestic Violence Clinics in Compton and Whittier in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. CLA SoCal Advocates provide legal guidance, restraining order assistance, and holistic support for survivors. The Compton Chamber encourages those experiencing DV to use these free clinics. We thank CLA SoCal for making these services available to the Compton community.

The Compton community welcomes The Ingredients, a new locally owned restaurant on West Rosecrans Avenue offering hearty breakfast and lunch favorites such as waffles, omelets, burgers, wings, and homestyle comfort dishes. After a soft opening in late 2025, the restaurant plans an official grand opening soon. The Compton Chamber invites the business to join its community and will gladly assist with organizing a future ribbon cutting celebration.

Since opening in 1993, the Thurgood Marshall Justice Center has served Compton with dedicated civil legal support. The office space is currently undergoing renovations, reflecting a renewed commitment to the community. Compton’s dining scene welcomes a new destination for Southern comfort food as Chef Aaron Robinson opens Let’s Eat Soul Food Restaurant on West Compton Boulevard. The restaurant will celebrate its Grand Opening and Compton Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting on March 7, 2026. Guests are invited to enjoy classic soul food favorites, meet the chef, and take part in a community celebration marking an exciting new addition to the city’s local business and restaurant scene.

The Compton Chamber of Commerce invites residents to celebrate Yoshinoya’s Ribbon Cutting & Community Relaunch on February 20, 2026. The event marks the restaurant’s official Chamber membership and a fresh chapter under new management. The celebration will also feature the presentation of a vibrant community mural by Compton-born artist Mel Depaz, fully funded by Yoshinoya as a gift to the city and a symbol of local pride and beautification.
