The Compton Chamber of Commerce is honored to invite the residents of Compton and our neighboring communities to join us for the Grand Reopening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the newly renovated offices of Community Legal Aid SoCal at the historic Thurgood Marshall Justice Center.
This special occasion marks far more than the completion of a renovation project. It represents a renewed investment in our community and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Community Legal Aid SoCal's longstanding commitment to ensuring that quality legal assistance remains accessible to the individuals and families who need it most.
For more than three decades, these offices have served as a place where residents could find guidance, advocacy, and support during some of life's most difficult moments. The newly renovated facilities reflect Community Legal Aid SoCal's continued dedication to strengthening its ability to serve Compton and the surrounding communities for many years to come.

Serving Compton Since 1993
Community Legal Aid SoCal has maintained a presence in Compton since 1993, operating from the Thurgood Marshall Justice Center and providing free and low-cost civil legal services to residents throughout Compton and neighboring communities.
Over the years, the organization has become a trusted resource for thousands of families, helping individuals navigate complex legal challenges and access the justice system regardless of income or circumstance.
Their work has included assistance with:
