Compton Youth Academy Crowned 2026 National Champions
The Compton Youth Academy Softball Team captured the 2026 Jennie Finch Classic championship during MLB All-Star Week in Philadelphia, defeating the Houston Astros Youth Academy 12-0 in the final. The victory highlights the talent, discipline, and resilience of Compton's young people. Supported by MLB, Nike RBI, and Arm & Hammer Laundry, the team represented Compton with pride during America's 250th anniversary celebration and returned home as national champions.
