The City of Compton issued a Public Statement regarding the "false" accusations and groundless claims regarding the Compton Pantry operations broadcast by the TV channel CBS2 ! We thank the city officials for setting the record straight.
It is shocking to observe such false & malicious statements on TV against our prestigious institute because the reality says otherwise. We suspect that either this was a mistake on part of the TV station or some people are intentionally trying to create this misunderstanding.
With this notice, Compton Chamber of Commerce intends inform the public about the false accusation regarding alleged mismanagement of the pantry operations and management of our food stocks. Our community service is based on trust and values. We strongly reject all such false & malicious accusations, as it is a clear slander to put the Chamber's reputation and credibility under observation, and stain our century old clean record.
