COMPTON HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

Compton, CA— On May 29, 2025, the Compton High School Alumni Association

(CHSAA) announced the names of two Compton High School seniors who will be receiving $1,000 scholarships to attend the college of their choice. The winners and their respective scholarship categories are Gabriel Ulloa (the Maxcy Filer Community Service Award), and Jackeline Maltos Garibay (the Most Improved Award). Each were presented with a beautiful certificate and a scholarship medallion.



In addition to the scholarship awards, the CHSAA Board of Directors gifted each member of the class of 2025 with a dogtag displaying the Tarbabe mascot and the CHSAA logo on either side, along with congratulatory note welcoming them to the Compton High Tarbabe alumni family.


The Compton High School Alumni Association, established in 2006, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization.
