Dale’s Donuts, at Atlantic Avenue and Alondra Boulevard, is crowned by a 32-foot concrete doughnut dating to the 1950s. One of the few surviving Big Do-Nut Drive-In locations, it preserves a uniquely American tradition of roadside architecture created to attract motorists.
