Compton Chamber of Commerce is partnering with PPE Unite™ For the May 19th Event In Compton!
On Wednesday, May 19th between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM PPE Unite™, in partnership with the Compton Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Safer At Work event at Crystal Casino in the City of Compton. This pop-up event is aimed to help employers in the greater Compton region to stay compliant with the post-pandemic guidelines, assist employers in keeping their staff/workers safe as they look to re-open their doors and bring employees back to work.
PPE Unite™ is a partnership between the State of California, local, and private entities formed to distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) to workplaces for economic recovery while promoting general public health and safety.
PPE Unite™ uses a number of permanent distribution centers across Southern California. Various local partners, such as Compton Chamber of Commerce, volunteer their support and sites for the Safer At Work pop-up events organized by PPE Unite™.
Compton Chamber of Commerce, along with other local organizations, is partnering with PPE Unite™ in order to support this worthy effort scheduled for May 19th by providing outreach assistance, spreading the word to the community and the local businesses, and providing volunteers.
ABOUT PPE Unite™
PPE Unite™ is a partnership between the State of California, local, and private entities formed to distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) to workplaces for economic recovery while promoting general public health and safety.
This large scale effort started with 5.5 million units of PPE made available to California small businesses. Today, having served over 30,000 organizations and distributed close to 18 million units of personal protective equipment, PPE Unite™ is one of the largest distribution efforts in the US. Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation (VSEDC) and Logisticom Inc. are leading the PPE Unite™ program, providing e-commerce solutions and logistics expertise.

The PPE Unite™ program has been welcomed by stakeholders as a valuable FREE resource designed to help employers stay compliant and keep their staff/workers safe during this critical time.
